Video on Gender Inequality
This is just a video presented by WorldFish, an 'international, nonprofit research organization that harnesses the potential of fisheries and aquaculture to reduce hunger and poverty'. This video, entitled 'Gender Equality: Now', talks about the importance and possible benefits of women obtaining more agricultural control, and how "promoting gender equality can reduce extreme poverty and hunger and boost shared prosperity for girls and boys, women and men, around the world". I think that this video does a good job of presenting the importance of gender equality, and how improving women's rights can truly change the world.
Gender Equality and Global Development
Some claim that Gender Equality is the single most important of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as it would have positive impacts on many of the other goals. This activity is designed to highlight some of these positive impacts, and to record ways empowering women and reducing gender inequality can lead to improvements of each of the 16 other Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This activity helped me to understand the impact Female Empowerment can have across many facets of development, as well as review the SDGs.

Gender Gap Index: Map Actvity
In this activity, we were required to practice and improve our ability to identify and describe patterns and anomolies in maps, charts, and other data. In this particular activity, I went to this BBC News site that talks about the best place to be a woman, based on the 2013 The Global Gender Gap Report. From there, I looked at one of the maps that shows how countries compare in the key area of gender representation in politics.

Gender Gap Index: Country Comparison
In this activity, we were required to compare and contrast gender inequality in two different countries, by using the Gender Gap Index. I chose two countries, one with one of the highest rankings (Finland, 2nd out of 142) and one with one of the lowest rankings (Pakistan, 141st out of 142). I looked at each of the key areas, and identified the ones with the most equality and the ones with the most inequality, as well as similarities between the two, and also what surprised me the most in each country's index.

Gender Matters Images
In this activity, we were required to find three facts relating to gender inequality, siting the source where we got our information, and finding an image that matched the statistic. These images are designed to present the severity and truth of the issues of gender inequality.
